Explanation
UV-Vis-NIR is used for optical absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance measurement in the wavelength range(200~3,300nm). When a sample of an unknown compound is exposed to light, certain functional groups within the molecule absorb light of different wavelength. It is used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of materials.
